“Your only limits are the ones that you believe to be true.”
Alexas R. Barnes, MBA
Life is expansive. It is similar to walking into the paint area of a home improvement store. So many options – brightness…darkness…texture…gloss…matte. Options that we all have in our reach to make the very best portrait, or color of what we want our life to be.
I am an avid believer in manifestation and law of attraction – but you will never simply think your way to what it is that you want. Some work is required. Honestly, the greater the vision the greater the work required. Unfortunately – that is the not so easy part of the idea of “wanting” something.
At times, I wish that I could just ring a bell – and someone would come to walk through this mud in flip flops for me. I used that metaphor to give you a visual of what it feels like trying to maneuver though where you need to be. Have you ever walked through thick mud in flip flops? Whew chile…talk about a struggle!
The journey is never as clear as the destination. But do you quit before you begin, because it seems hard? Do you quit because you fear what’s ahead? Let me stand in the gap as Coach Lex and let you know that quitting only sets you back.
If you take at least one step a day - you will be closer to that destination that is in your heart. Eventually those steps will turn into leaps and before you know it you’ll find yourself smack dab in middle of the blessing that you’ve prayed for - and plotting on what’s next. That’s the fun part!
I don’t fear many things – but regret is at the top of the list. At this point in my life – I have no regrets (and I’d like to keep it that way). I make many decisions based on the idea that the “what-if” will drive me crazy. To some it may seem careless, but to each is own. Every experience in life is a teachable moment - especially the ones that are uncomfortable.
Just keep pushing.
No matter what.
